The Caretaker Gazette recently featured a profile of LaDonna Carnahan. Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, LaDonna responded to an ad in the Gazette for a couple in San Antonio, Texas who were seeking a pet-sitter.
The arrangement was mutually beneficial: the homeowers were able to travel to Africa for a month and LaDonna was able to stay in their charming Victorian home while caring for their pet.
As James, the homeowner, explained, “We were delighted to find Ms. Carnahan through The Caretaker Gazette, and plan on using the Gazette in the future as we plan lengthy trips.”
