Here is one of our recent listings:

Housesitters are needed for a tropical villa on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, near Limon. Non-smoking singles or couples are invited to apply for one of two shifts (from March-June or April- September) The house can accommodate the two shifts at the same time with respect to each and everyone’s privacy: two bedrooms with separate access and private bathroom, a big living room with bath, kitchen and sleeping corner, a laundry, a swimming pool, and a dramatic panoramic view on Caribbean Sea from everywhere. There are three nice small mixed dogs who are living on the property. Wi-Fi ADSL is installed. The house is equipped with an alarm system connected to a security company.

The housesitters will cover water, electricity, telephone, internet and security service bills (about $100 a month). There is no salary. The dogs who live on site do not require much care: they need to be fed once a day and to be in the company of nice people. There is a small perimeter with grass to cut three times a month and a pool to maintain. The property is located within walking distance (1/2 hour) to Limon: a charming diverse city providing all facilities (medical care and hospital, supermarkets, fish market, restaurants and bars, etc. Basic knowledge of Spanish or better fluency will help.
